Teaching Hatha Yoga: Establishing Guidelines for Student Conduct

Once you have decided to become a teacher of yoga, one begins to see the behavior in a yoga class in a different way. You’re not a student of yoga, but yoga teacher who is trying to cover the class lesson plan over a specific time. Most yoga teachers who work with adults, so it does not address issues such as children or “rules Yoga Kids.” Even adults should use “common sense” Yoga Studio should establish guidelines or rules of conduct. It believes that common sense could be a wake up to a few students of yoga. Most floor surfaces to keep clean yoga. There are a variety of surfaces to choose from, but most yoga teachers do not want the shoes on the studio floor. During the winter in northern climates, snow and ice can get to the bottom floor of the yoga studio. That is, a reason why yoga studios are a sign that reads: “Please leave your shoes outside the door yoga studio.” The best thing I saw was a guy who left a trail of metal fragments its work boots on the mat yoga studio. Imagine cleaning, and we were throwing pieces of carpet for weeks. ”The phones should be switched off. If this is not possible, you will be able to participate in yoga class.” Does it seem a bit ‘last? There’s nothing like teaching a meditation session and the “March of the Imperial Guard” ring out the yoga class. If students of yoga can not be separated from your phone, you must set a vibration without noise. Most Yoga teachers aware of a few people are “on call” but not be able to destroy what the majority of students try yoga. Most students come to yoga class to find a piece of tranquility. ” They want to leave mobile phones, multi-tasking, deadlines and a day’s work. ”Keep your body clean. It bothers me that all of us if we have to remember a student of this.” This guide is difficult, but necessary. Even if you could use common sense, someone will finally enter into the study of Yoga, and nose will never forget the experience. How long can you or your students to yoga, take the punishment? His students should not remain in the yoga class, and you can end the teaching of the source of the problem – only. In relation to this rule is: “Please do not use strong perfumes or colognes yoga class.” Many of us love to wear perfume or cologne. However, too much or the wrong kind, can smell like insecticide for everyone else. This reaction can cause headaches, nausea, and some students of yoga can leave a legacy. These are just some examples of why you should apply the guidelines for your yoga classes. It is true that a small number of people who created the precedent, but the rules and guidelines should be designed to protect the vast majority of students of Yoga.
