This is the sponge for you if you feel that your make-up goes on that much better using one.
It is designed right, and easy to use.
The cleanser is wonderful and the sponge truly comes clean.
I am not giving it 5 stars due to the price. . . I think it is high.

I can’t say enough good things about it. I’ve copied and pasted this review into a couple places. I love it that much.

The cleanser is soy based and it comes in a container that has a scooped top. You place your beauty blender egg shaped sponge in the scoop and press once or twice while the bottle of cleanser remains sitting on the counter,(no need to turn the bottle over to get the cleansing liquid out)this revelutionary design insures that you only use a small ammount of the cleanser. The soy based cleanser actually breaks down all kinds of different foundations that you may have used with the sponge. I’ve been known to use the soy based liquid cleanser to clean my brushes as well. Instead of setting the egg in the scoop, I set a circular cleansing pad in the scoop, press once and then use the pad to clean my brushes. I usually let them dry overnight before using them again.

Now onto the sponge. . . . It leaves foundation looking flawless. You use the sponge with a technique called, dribbling. Apply a small ammount of foundation (it’s all you’ll need) and then dribble the sponge all over your entire face using a bouncing motion, yet very close to the face. The side of the egg that comes to a rounded point is for areas such as the corners of the nose. While applying your foundation to the corners of the nose with the tip of the sponge- continue using the dribbling technique. I like that you clean the sponge right away after using it because it gets rid of the bacteria left on it from your face. It’s a great way to reduce, re-use and recycle. You can use your sponge wet or dry. It swells up to twice its size when it is completely saturated with water. I usually barely wet mine before applying foundation.

You can buy these products seperately, but I would advise buying them as a duo because it’s less expensive when you buy them together. I had to buy mine seperately because I was in a hurry to get them after a friend told me all about how great they are. It’s the same price on here as it was about a year ago on CherryCulture dot com. I love Amazon, but the shipping can get ridiculous sometimes. You can buy $40 worth of products on CherryCulture and then get free shipping. The only trouble is that they usually sell out of this product fairly fast. So your best bet might just be to buy from here. Especially if they are offering Super Saver Shipping.

    I love my Beauty Blender.

The price is scary, but it`s so worth it! First of all I use less make up when applying (just a pea size on the cheeks and forehead, and a bit where needed). I bounce the dump sponge all over my face and that`s it! Flawless, natural look. Even my husband commented! It`s Allure editor award choice, I know why! For me it`s the best make up applicator (I used foundation brush, make up regular sponge, and my favorite till now fingers).
I`m happy I bought the cleanser, only because I can place sponge on top to dry, and later I replace liquid with other delicate soap. After the sponge is dry I keep it in the original plastic case (separate from the second one by a plastic divider). All clean and easy to use. Latex free if someone`s allergic.
The average life of the sponge supposed to be 3 months, but I predict longer (just clean it delicately), because I don`t wear make up everyday. Easy to clean and storage. I recommend to buy a double pack at once, it`s better value.
I`ll come back for more for sure!

Yes, they are very, very expensive but this sponge did allow me to accomplish the best application of foundation ever. Very, very natural finish. I like the cleanser very much also although I’m sure I could get the same results from using an antibacterial hand soap to cleanse the sponge. I was initially worried that the lavendar in the cleanser would bother my sinuses but there is only a very, very light scent so I haven’t had any problems. I’m waiting to see how long the sponges hold up — the package reads 3 months. If I get three months out of a sponge I will probably re-order. I doubt that I’ll re-order the cleanser though.
