Improving quality of life, involving health and nutrition, following a diet and proper nutrition to prevent diseases and maintain physical fitness. The problems of malnutrition could be related to deficiencies of vitamins or nutrients and dietary supplements are an important part of the strategy for disease prevention and to help improve energy levels (COM Papers4you., 2006). The use of supplements in disease conditions such as high cholesterol levels was studied to understand the positive and negative aspects of dietary supplements on health. For example, vitamin A may be a public health problem and in many countries to implement strategies to prevent deficiency of these cases (Whiting et al, 2006). Vitamin C or ascorbic acid may be harmful when deficient or in higher doses and recommended vitamin C was made by several countries. Health authorities around the world encourage people to change their health by adopting new behaviors such as quitting smoking or changing eating habits. In addition to vitamins and minerals, fatty acids play an important role in the modulation and prevention of diseases. However, maintaining a rigorous diet and fitness can be explained with the aid of social control and cultural values. Fitness levels are determined by measures of speed, strength and flexibility of the athletes or people, even ordinary and energy costs are directly related to nutrition, diet, physical activity and physiology (including Papers4you., 2006.) In this context, ‘ importance of culture in the gym can be studied as the gym is the motivation might be similar to the motivation to follow a pattern of strict diet and this in turn Have an impact on overall health and fitness levels (Bull et al 2006). This is because each exercise strict regulation brings about heat facilitates heat loss and regulates body temperature interna.Uno important topics in nutrition and health studies would be the disease prevalence and patterns of diet and lifestyle have a direct impact on health people. Smokers, for example, has been linked with lung cancer and heart disease, analyzing data on mortality rates, smoking, lung cancer and coronary heart disease and the benefits of quitting smoking have also been established in several studies (Saijo , 2006). One of the main themes of nutritional studies is the hope of life and health and disease in the elderly. The problem of malnutrition is higher in old age as people may have a poor diet and lack of mobility that prevent them from following a path recommended diet. In some cases, malnutrition can lead to chronic diseases and poor physical mobility and the elderly, therefore, need of specific and effective treatment methods. General studies on gender variations in life expectancy and disease have shown that women tend to live longer than men but also tend to report more illnesses than men (WHO, 2000).
